Pronounced 'Synap Bridge', SynapBridj 2006 is Meta4hand's premiere software product. Designed from inception to overcome the limitations of mobile handheld devices, this unique middleware enables communication devices to wirelessly collaborate with external computing devices for the delivery of the worker’s mobile desktop on-the-road.

In its simplest form, SynapBridj integrates the network that most users already carry with them, i.e. their cellular connection, with the wireless keyboard and wireless mouse capabilities of the same device providing that network. Your Smartphone thus instantly serves as both router and controller to allow you to manipulate the data you access on other displays in your proximity.

By pairing your Smartphone with another computing device, such as a laptop, notebook, or Tablet PC, you can extend the capabilities of each device:

• the laptop gains the advantage of a remote controller for PowerPoint presentations or any standard desktop application;

• the laptop also gains the power of accessing a cellular data network over Wi-Fi (802.11b/g) OR Bluetooth. (Since most new laptops come standard with Wi-Fi, this saves on having to purchase Bluetooth as an add-on);

• the Smartphone gains by accessing and controlling a desktop interface that is too large and complex to adequately render on its own small screen.
   

Pairing your Smartphone with a tiny Ultra PC, such as the Espresso PC, takes this mobility to the next level.

• carry less bulk and weight while delivering the full Windows desktop to mobile workers;

• reduce training and software development costs for the enterprise by allowing workers to use the desktop version of software rather than a filtered or 'pocket' version of their applications;

• enable the delivery and manipulation of complex data types to remote workers without compromising the context of information or reducing the amount of detail available to them;

The SynapBridj paradigm establishes a Client-Server collaboration between handheld and secondary computing devices.
